Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My brain has been more
than a little fuzzy just thinking and
pondering over the past few days.

Isn't that little bird the so cheerful?
My sister made him for me when we went to Michigan
this past weekend. He sits in my kitchen window and
reminds me how much we are loved.

About a month into our pregnancy nearly every time I would get into the car
I would hear "How He Loves" by David Crowder.
I half joked with Brian, a little bit nervously, that I wondered if
God was trying to prepare us for something.
Deeply and secretly hoping we wouldn't lose this baby too.

All the while, God was whispering....
I love you... it's going to be tough.
... I love you.... I love you...
Trust me... I love you!

Here are the lyrics:

He is jealous for me.
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree.
Bending beneath the weight and wind of His mercy.

When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize just how beautiful You are
And how great Your affections are for me

Oh, how He loves us so
Oh, how He loves us
How He loves us all

Yeah, He loves us
Oh, how He loves us
Oh, how He loves us
Oh, how He loves

And we are His portion and He is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking

And heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets

When I think about the way…
